Fees and Insurance
Fee
My fee is currently $260 per session. Sessions are usually held at a regular time once each week, though some clients come twice each week.
Insurance
I do not accept insurance for payment, and I am not in-network with any health insurance plans. However, if you have out-of-network benefits, I could give you a completed, standard, Health Insurance Claim Form at the end of each month that you could submit to your insurance carrier for reimbursement. You should first check to make sure:
- whether you have out-of-network benefits (which means that you can be reimbursed for seeing a provider who does not participate in your plan),
- what your deductible is,
- what percentage of the fee they will reimburse,
- how many sessions they cover, and
- whether you need approval first.
Sliding Scale
If you do not have out-of-network benefits and are unable to pay my full fee, I would be willing to discuss moderating my fee at an initial consultation. If we were unable to find a fee that was workable for both of us, I would not charge you for the consultation, and I would try to make a suggestion for another therapist.
